Installing Debian Sarge on a RAID 1 Device

I've been asked to install Debian Sarge on a server for the Burngreave Messenger.

The machine in question has 2x 80GB Hdd which are to be used as a RAID 1 Disk Mirror.

My Distro of choice is generally SuSE which will deal with installing onto a raid device without any issues, but the specification was to use Debian so....

This seemed difficult for a while but .. This article made it easy

I basically installed a default install using all of /dev/hda , added the utilities described in the article and followed its steps using /dev/md0 for / and /dev/md1 for swap

:-)
