Hi

The mock-up for an events componnet is here:

I think that the "Coverage Country" and the "Event Organiser
Organisation" fields could be omitted.
  
The time zone is essential and in addition there should be the option to
set the time zone of each site and the site time zone should be the
default one selected when an event is added.

I was thinking of setting up an events listing box for the sidebar and
in addition there will probably be a need for an events list component,
like this:

I guess the "Sort Order" and "List Type" could potentially be omitted,
though it might be good to be able to generate listings of past
events...

The other thing that would be cool would be a calendar listing box
like Plone has:

Thoughts on this anyone?
