where are we in our funding cycle ?
how many months do we have before we run out of funding, and what outputs are we
supposed to have by then ?
Does anybody have a copy of our last (successful ) application ?
maybe we should have some mid cycle reflection ?
oh ... and this came along -- maybe we should go
Subject: Sheffield Funding Fair
Sheffield's Free Funding Fair
Sheffield City Council's Voluntary Sector Liaison Team is working in
partnership with Voluntary Action Sheffield and South Yorkshire
Funding
Advice Bureau to hold a Funding Fair.
Come along and meet funders and support agencies that can help your
voluntary or community group.
The Funding Fair will take place on Thursday the 13th March 2008 and
will be
a drop in event.
The event starts at 10am and will finish at 4pm it will be held in
Sheffield
Town Hall.
The event is free and there is no need to book, just turn up on the day
with
your questions and ideas for projects.
Dinner is included so all you need to bring is a pen.
Who will be there? : Big Lottery Fund, Council Small Grants Fund,
Sheffield
Church Burgesses Trust, JG Graves Charitable Trust, Burngreave New Deal
for
Communities Small Grants, South Yorkshire Community Foundation,
Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities Fund, Business in the
Community, Voluntary Action Sheffield, South Yorkshire Funding Advice
Bureau, Sheffield Council Parks & Countryside's Community Partnerships

Sheffield Council Area Action Team
We will add to this list regularly, as more funders and partners agree
to

There will be two workshops on how to fundraise using the Internet and
putting together basic financial information for funding applications.
Once
again these workshops are free and there is no need to book.
