Quick, yes; but is that kind of speed essential for the purpose?
I'm conscious that funders are sensitive to spending on capital goods (cf
revenue costs) and the project must be able demonstrate the benefits of opting
for this item. We're buying large (but slow: brontosaurus) HDDs for the server,
so can we justify an extra 200 quid for a velociraptor?
However, tell me that it's needed to match the high spec of the other components
in the media computer and that's fair enough: I'll back it.
