Photoshop - Illustrator - Indesign - Video Editing - Creating Video Commercials using After Effects and more.

This is an amazing way of learn. The learner will be able to see my desktop, and see what actions I am doing, hear me talk as I show, step by step how to design flyers, posters, magazine layouts, using video editing tools and learn Industry Standard software.

I know there are courses out there but they cost too much. The course I am running will be a charge of only 5 pound per person for a 4-6 weeks lessons. If anyone in Burmgreave is interested then please email me at:

uk id card coercion plans (NIS_Options_Analysis_Outcome.pdf v1)

From http://www.boingboing.net/2008/01/29/leaked-uk-govt-doc-r.html

attached is the leaked UK gov doc...

Phil from the UK anti-ID-register group NO2ID sends in this nugget -- note the call to action there. We've got a sensitive government document revealing the British government's plan to trick us into a database state and we need as many copies as possible, as quickly as possible!

If you mirror this document, please add a link to it in the comments for the post.

UK campaigners NO2ID this morning enlisted the help of bloggers across the world to spread a leaked government document describing how the British government intends to go about "coercing" its citizens onto a National Identity Register. The 'ID card' is revealed as little more than a cover to create a official dossier and trackable ID for every UK resident - creating what NO2ID calls 'the database state'.

Debunking the deniers

Refuting the channel 4 documentary "Great Global Warming Swindle" ...

A great analysis that pulls to pieces the poor science from Channel 4

The refutation of the sunspot theory is especially worth noting.

Richard Stallman at the 5th international GPLv3 conference; 21st November 2006

Just been reading the transcript of Richard Stallman GPLv3 5th International Conference .. its available here http://fsfeurope.org/projects/gplv3/tokyo-rms-transcript

It has such beautiful content as

"Treacherous Computing is an instance of a very dangerous phenomenon, namely a conspiracy of companies to restrict the public - to restrict the public's access to technology. Such conspiracies ought to be a crime. The executives of those companies should be tried, and if convicted, sent to prison for conspiring to restrict the public's access to technology. However, that sort of policy would have required leaders that believe in government of the people, by the people, for the people. What we have today is government of the people, by the flunkies, for the corporations.

Message fwd from Stuart Crosthwaite

Hello Everyone

There's a full Sheffield City Council meeting this Wednesday 6th at 2pm in the Town Hall. Amongst other items there is a resolution (put by the LibDems...) arguing that the right to work for asylum seekers should be reinstated.

There will be an opportunity for anybody to ask questions and make points about the issue from the public gallery. To do this you need to get to the Town Hall reception by about 1.30pm on the day and register yourself. It might take them a while to get round to discussing this resolution but probably not later than 3pm.

With growing numbers of destitute asylum seekers in Sheffield, without the right to benefits, accommodation or to work legally the problem is a real one. The Council has limited powers to change current legislation but it can and should publicise its opposition to a policy which creates poverty, crime and illegal low-wage work.

Arbourthorne Free Wireless Project

Started work on the Arbourthorne free wireless project. ( need to think of a catchier name ! )

Purchased 4 Linksys WRT54GL and started installing the freifunk firmware

Seems quite cool software. The OLSR daemon works nicely and creates the routes happily. Need to remember that the wireless interfaces must all be in the same subnet, adhoc, and have same essid for automatic meshing to work.

Love Sheffield Music Hate Racism

Just heard about this! http://www.lmhrsheffield.co.uk/ looks good, I look forward to hearing more of it, and getting the record.

‘Love Sheffield Music Hate Racism’ Album Launch Party!!!!!! Thursday 5th October @ THE HUBS, HALLAM UNION, SHEFFIELD

“Ignorance and misunderstanding are the underlying causes of racism. Music cuts through all that crap so we can judge a human being by the quality of their soul and musicality which are so much more important than the color of there skin or their nationality” Richard Hawley, June 2006.

Sheffield city has a long and proud history of challenging racism and an equally proud history of producing great music. We decided to promote the energy and quality of our SHEFFIELD MUSIC and use it to celebrate diversity; by putting together the ‘LOVE SHEFFIELD MUSIC HATE RACISM ALBUM’, a double CD featuring Sheffield artists.
