The Burngreave Domestic Abuse Project is a community based project run by a team of trained female workers including an Urdu,
Punjabi and Mirpuri speaker. Interpreters for other languages can be arranged.

Women affected by domestic abuse will be offered practical and emotional support to explore their options, to help them recover from their experiences and to change their situation. We can also support women to access other support to meet their children's needs after living with domestic abuse.

We offer a weekly informal drop-in session at Ivy Lodge Clinic, 254 Rutland Road on Thursday's from 2.00pm to 3.30pm.

We also operate a helpline which is open from Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 4.00pm on 01142726024.

Men affected by domestic abuse can be signposted to other support services in the city.

Perpetrators of domestic abuse will be signposted to initiatives aimed at changing their behaviour.
